How to Register

To register, please call 336.260.6465. When your registration has been confirmed, send payment to The Haw River Canoe & Kayak Co., P.O. Box 22, Saxapahaw, NC, 27340. Registrations are filled on a first come, first serve basis when payment is received.

You must be registered and paid in full before participating. You will be required to read and sign a liability waiver and pay attention to the safety briefing presented before the event begins.

Our Trip Cancellation Policy

Should you cancel reservations for any course, rental, guided trip, shuttle or platform rental more than 30 days in advance, you will receive a full refund less a 15% administration fee. Cancellations made less than 30 days but more than 10 days prior to the course start date, will not receive a refund, but 50% of the fee may be credited toward a future event, to be used within one year. Cancellations made less than 10 days prior to departure, or "no shows," will receive no refund or credit.

If The Haw River Canoe & Kayak Co. cancels an event, participants are eligible for a full refund, but in no way shall The Haw River Canoe & Kayak Co.'s liability exceed the cost of the event, and The Haw River Canoe & Kayak Co. is not liable for extra expenses incurred in preparation for the event. All events are sold as a package, and credits are not given for individual services not used.

Dollar-A-Day for Conservation

All trips and courses offered by The Haw River Canoe & Kayak Co. are intended to raise public awareness to the need to protect our environment. We hope you will consider contributing one dollar per day to support the work of the Haw River Assembly, a local conservation group whose mission it is to protect the river, its tributaries and Jordan Lake. Simply add one dollar per day to The Haw River Canoe & Kayak Co. event fee; we will make sure that your contribution gets to the Haw River Assembly.
